Description
one frame from a special effects shot. The lights are created with simple 100%ambient spheres and rendered. A second render is made with all textures reduced to matt black leaving just the lights to render. The shot was then composited addeing the pass with the just lights (now blurred) creating glowing lights that trak perfectly. A few light flares added in Particle Illusion as the shot moves. There are also several tiny moving ships - hard to spot in this static image.

Wow! I love this! You're right, it's hard to see the little ships, you might be able to fix this with a different POV. Still... looks incredible! Well done!
