Description

Taken in my home town Lelystad (Netherlands). These sheep are walking on the dyke almost every day of the year. Took some tactics to get close to them, but after I sat down in the grass they slowly walked towards me and became curious. Unfortunatly the sun was settling and soon there wasn't enough light left to take good sharp pictures. For me that is, because if I had taken my tripod with me I would have been able to capture some sheep from real close. Well who knows I'll visit those lovely creatures another time, they might even start to like me :0)

I think this image is fantastic, there's a nice feeling of peacefulness in it. I see a sort of symbolic sense of balance in it too: there doesn't have to be conflict between human technology and nature; the windmills produce no pollution and have no other destructive effects on their surroundings (at least as far as I know!). If we only strived more to find these kind of solutions...Great picture, thank you for sharing it!
