Description

The corncockle is an old fashioned annual for our garden. In the beginning of the 20th Century very common in Dutch nature but now almost gone, sadly enough....it's a beautiful flower. As you can see I used a soft focus filter to give this picture an old fashioned look.

It is sad that this beautiful flower is disappearing. Any chance to save the seeds and try to raise a few so there will be more? Exchanging seeds is worldwide, especially with vegetables. We have a garden and I try to save certain plants in our area and it feels good to see them come up each year. I am sure you feel this joy too as it is displayed already in the way you took the potograph. Have a great week.
