Description

A distant world, where each day a blazing sun races across the sky; a sun that has baked all moisture from the surface, leaving mineral salts caked on the ground. Long ago, the cycle of rain ceased, and unbelievable temperature changes became the norm. As the hot star sinks below the horizon, the gases in the very atmosphere begin to freeze and sink into the shallows of the terrain; it will be another long, misty night. Terragen, Photo Shop, my own 4096 terrain, very slight postwork. Oh, I just wanted to play with the blue glow, OK? Have a super evening and leave a comment if you please.

I'm always the late one in making comments. Anyway, this rocks! I played with the glow too but only in a small way.. you have managed to make quite a nice scene here with it.

I love that effect (funny how an error in the Terragen engine can open for such fantastic artwork - I also once played with the "glow effect" actually hard to find IMO :-). As it has already been said this is a dreamlike image. Super!
