Awesome bee you found here Raj !!! Superb shots of it as well, superb !! Im pretty sure its Xylocopa violacea (couldnt find a common name), but it definately is of the Xylocopa species. Xylocopa violacea seems to life in south-west Asia, so no problem there :o) Since you have seen it in real life, maybe you should do a search for Xylocopa species and see which one it is :o)
