Wish you were.........
Image dedicated to my Father-in-Law, who was with us this day, last year, and we celeberated his 82nd B'day.
He left us in August, '05 followed by my Mom-in-Law who left us only a few days back.
We sense a void today... as if everything has been washed out...... as if standing on a marooned beach with no direction as to what happened and why.... it was all so sudden, it needs time to sink in the tragedy.
Happy B'day Father.
You are always there in our hearts.

I feel for you my friend, I was just back from visiting my mother and I don't know how kids these days are really about their parents, but I know this.. I'd just be crushed if anything were to happen to her..I miss my father too.

Having never lost a parent, I will not say I know what you are going through. I have lost a grandmother and 2 grandfathers and an uncle who was more like my dad so I do know that sorrow. The only thing I can say is they are in a better place watching over us and keeping us safe. Thay are the angels that guard us.
