A little too sharp (plants) and to much haze (alphaplane) IMHO, in rest a superb composition! Love the flock of birds, the distant castle-and-hills! Well done!

Hi Ken, I was too late to comment on your previous posting "One Fine Day" which was beautiful and clever even down to the dog looking at the viewer as in real life it would. So knowing you can do better and unlike everyone else here........ I feel I have to be honest & say that this composition looks like it was created by someone else. The scale is off. As you have used Vue infinite eco to use the same planting from foreground to horizon, the castle needs to be much more in the distance. This will in turn allows you to scale up the focus of the composition "The Bathers' so that they sit well with the planting. Also the alpha sky is not as successful as in the previous posting..maybe a tad over exposed. I can tell you a trick of all artists is to do a painting or render in this case and that is to file it away for a while and look at it with a fresh eye after a few days. You will be surprised to be able to see what needs more work. HappyRendering Nick ;0)

That's odd, it seems as though my first attempt at comment posting failed. In any case, wow, what a glorious image. The bathers overwhelm us with their innocence, joy and romance, every now and then tainted with a sense of worry that they might be spotted. I love the modest pose of the lady. Is it modesty or is she afraid the water will be too cold or that there will be strange, pond dwelling creatures in it? :-) Her companion seems to think not. The foliage is just out of this world beautiful. Magnificent detail and breathtaking scene. Vote!
