I do not comment with an expectation of a thank you... on the contrary, I comment AS a thank you for sharing your creation. For me, this particularly amazing work has many conflicting elements vying for emotional control of the girl you have portrayed. You never cease to amaze me with the depth you put into your imagery. It is humbling really. Thank you for sharing with us Bev, and thank you for being YOU.

Like a lost Victorian masterpiece, rich in symbols and emotion. It amazes me that you used digital tools to create this. In a way, it's a shame there is no original painting. :-)

long time i had to think about this picture... i guess too many thoughts... i still do not really know what to think about it... speechless... dear bev. don't ask what it is... i enjoy this picture... it's amazing! i really love what i see... and there's something "different" in here... it's more dark... but still there's hope -- and there are hightlights... the zips... the daisies... the way she looks... and she's able to ry... so many different levels... i guess i leave it as it is for me - i will watch further and let it influence my feelings - my way of thinking while i watch it... huge hugs

....ahhh now - THIS is fascinating work Bev! -- reminding me of wrapped objects ( without the wrap ) ------ seems to be a long step in a darker direction -- totally captivating -- and , moving .....and the subtle use of the tear works so well - rising above what would be a cliche in lesser hands ...I'll be back to this one many times to soak it in .Hands down - your finest work.

Hi Bev, forgive me for my late comment, I have looked time and time again at this image, totally blown away by your skill as an artist and the emotions this image makes me feel. I will not try and second-guess what you are conveying here, for me this image is about oppression and defiance, at all levels. I am so pleased to be able to share your wonderful art.

this is like reading your palm looking at these lines they tell a lot from the hand that made them and this tells a lot about the lines that made the very hands that drew them.

This is freakishly disturbing in a way I'm not quite comfortable with. There is something a little bit too real, too . . . well, human, about her. It's really quite disturbing. I guess that means it's good.

This is very impressive and, I'm afraid, shall take some time to completely digest as it's so perfect and enigmatic. Excellent artwork ... I'm blown away.
