Description

Taken from the book "Alice In Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, this title, "Through The Looking Glass" is the second half of the book, copyright 1923. It is my mother's book and the pages are very yellowed and not in mint condition. The tea isn't mint, either. ;-) Taken with a Nikon D70, made B&W and teased in PS, I chose poster edge for this look. Also....these are NOT my glasses...LOL. Thanks for the help with my previous uploads. It is very much appreciated. Happy May Day. Jodie :0)

Very well done, and a pair of stories every artist should be familiar with :o) The reading glasses and lace tablecloth are nice touches. Everything is well balanced and arraged, too.

Dear Jodie, A terrific photograph and you couldn't have picked a better subject! "Alice" has been my favorite for as long as I can remember. The setting is beautiful and so appropriate. Lewis Carroll himself could well have just stepped up from the table. The black and white is very nice and is much more dramatic in this case than would be color. I also like the reduced color space on the book and the tea cup!! Very Excellent work!! Love, Meredith
