Description

I've been watching and reading a fair bit of horror of late, something I do on occassion. I simply have been in the mood for something darker, and faintly menacing...well, here it is, something darker. Sort of a "memento mori" idea going on. Please feel free to comment and be critical as heck (edited for those of delicate constitution). The only way to improve is to get feedback and where better than a place where no one knows you or cares to spare your feelings. So, please, feel free to rip it to shreds, chew it up and spit the remains at my feet. I'll learn something from it all and that is the important thing. Yerz, Yogdog.

Fantastic atmosphere. Beautiful character, pose and expression. Love her suit... Looks like already someone has been gnawing at it. 8-) Wonderful hair. Excellent mood.

Well, I have absolutely nothing bad to say or critique because this image is superb! I wish I could do something sensually dark and wicked such as this piece! The character, outfit, and pose it awesome...perfectly realized and executed! I'm not sure what you are looking for in the form of feedback, but I'd say you hit the mark bullseye with this image! Excellent work!!

I think you have definitely hit the mark. It's hard to believe that's a Bryce render; just goes to show how it's the artist, not the tools that makes a great image. I really like this pic - a lot! But since you asked for crit... The lighting is perfect for the image - it not only lights the scene, but also provides a great sense of mood. Her outfit is outstanding for this shot. The earring adds much more to the overall composition than one would think; great choice! The textures in general are pretty good and believable (especially the moss/fungi). On the needs improvement list - the hair texture looks like plastic (though the style/shape is spot-on). The background skull looks too big for it's location in the scene. The mist in the lower part of the picture looks too much like a popular PS plugin, not mist, and serves as more of a distraction than anything. Perhaps if it were less opaque in the foreground... Also, the reflection in the floor is too prominent and could use more blur. Again, you asked for honest feedback so I hope something I've said helps you in your quest. Sweet picture - VOTE!
