Blade Runner is definitive one of the best Sci-Fi Films. Your Project is full of good ideas and Stuff (good fitting sound, and Images). Hope i will see more of this in the Future.

Looks very nice, but it hasn't the same dark mood as bladerunner has, I think. But it's a great pic, and the movie is superb!

"Commerce is our motto, Mr Deckard....." I love that film. Some how, I think it needs those ziggaurats, plus the rain, gotta have the rain!

Very nice lighting on the police car. I like that fact that this scene looks less depressing than the canon Blade Runner film.
Eromanric
It takes place in the same universe as BR... only in Metrotampa instead of Los Angeles... Provides for a little creative licencing....

Fantastic cityscape!

Looks great. One small nitpick, the backs of the police hovercraft are a bit too dark. The sky is too bright and if you look at the buildings, you can see that there is light coming in from the foreground. Should be a little bit of that light on the police hovercraft.

Thanks SevenofEleven. I'll probably boost the global illumination for the final animated CG.

As a tremendous fan of that film, I am hooked on this image. I do agree that it could do with a bit more grunge... perhaps some HV low clouds of dust and pollution... and rain?
Eromanric
Moebius, Thanks! I'll have to try some low density grund fog....

Love this excellent image, Sean. It will be difficult, however, to add grunge at this scale. On the car, maybe, but it is backlit, so not much of it is actually visible. Maybe look at the real thing again and see what they did with the cityscape.
