Description

A 3D version of Clay for "Star Wars: A Rising Threat" fan film. http://risingthreat.weitech.com.au/ Besides the fact that Clay does not have any hair, what do you think? More WIP images are available at my online gallery. http://www.seansgallery.com Comments Always Welcome!

Excellent facial hair. I think the model equipment is excellently detailed. The only problem is that the outfit is black, so I can't really see the detail of it. Maybe if you uploaded a non-textured version...

Is he bald through age? Perhaps he'd have a few more wrinkles. Otherwise, perhaps the suggestion of shaven hair would be needed in the head textures, perhaps just a slight darkening.

Actually he's not bald. I just didn't set up sasquach for these renders: His comparrison photo is here: http://www.seansgallery.com/cgi-bin/showpicture.cgi?picture=compare2&menu=38

apart from the fact that his lightsaber is floating by his side, great. Oh crap, that's where the jedi mind trick comes in right.

Yeah. Still need to add the belt hook.

Something missing here... the fabrics lack thickness, some kind of heaviness to them would help. His eyes seem a bit flat... kinda dead looking. The light saber is fairly dull and uninteresting, so unless there's a polygon count to watch it would be nice to see that given more detail. Oh yeah... and of course this gets my vote, because it really is excellent work. :o)

Moebius87, Thanks for the critique. Unfortunately, There is a polygon count max that I have to keep in mind, so I'm doing what I can with what I have. I also have to model the hair. apparently when they convert this to MAX format they won;t have sasquach to fo filament hair.
