Description

I am still learning with my little Pentax Optio MX4 and have discovered the beauty of color in the strangest places. I took this photograph of some pretty little purple flowers (have no idea what they are) as they pushed forward to gain sunlight from beneath a pile of bricks near my garden. After looking at the picture on my screen, I decided I kind of liked the colors of the bricks as much as the flowers. :-) I hope you enjoy and never feel you can't get along with those around you. We only need to keep trying. ;-) Comments welcome and thank you for your kind comments on my previous experiments.

Oh how lovely. Im not sure what they are, but they look very much like Bluettes. A very small dainty flower that pushes its way up in clumps usually in spring. Of course these could also be blue star flowers. But whatever they are they are wonderful. Hugs Emma great photo!

Maggie I love this one enough that I would hang it in my home. Each brick has its own interesting personality and even though they seem to be in shadow, they convey warmth through their colors. On a color wheel you will find orange and blue opposite to one another because they are complimentary colors, the name Friendly Neighbors truely does fit this photo.
