Description

Still having fun with my Pentax Optio Mx4 ... I noticed a beautiful sweet scent coming from my lilac bush one day just as the sun was setting. Taking my Sunpak Compact SXL tripod out to the yard, I set it up and began to snap pictures. As a very soft breeze caressed my cheek, it occurred to me that the blossoms were dancing quite frantically. What was it that made the lavendar blooms bounce and jiggle??? I inhaled the intoxicating fragrance and was about to leave when I heard some twittering and what sounded like a giggle! Slowly, I lowered one branch of lilacs and there she was! A Lilac Pixie! CLICK! My camera caught my own surprise mirrored on the little imp's face. You never know where you will find a Pixie... they are all over the place! Happy Memorial Day to you all and I welcome any comments. :-)

It is so lucky you had your camera ready! If I had to pick just one, I'd go for the bottom right. An elegant idea with lovely variations and color.

Aw, Maggie your words are wonderful and this shot is precious.What a beautiful baby you have.It's Emma,isn't it?(always loved that name).Very creative work.It reminds me of Anne Geddes.You should keep with this style.It is very commercially appealing.The potential is enormous for images such as yours in the market place.Good luck,sweetie!
