Description

Canon EOS 10D, Canon 100-400L IS lens at 390mm ISO 400, 1/200 second at f10, handheld with fill flash Ok, maybe time for a change of pace here. I was just taking a photo of this pickerel weed growing in the swamp, when this bee flew into the picture. It was pretty neat the way that worked out. Thank you for your comments on the green heron I posted yesterday. After I posted it, I found that I didn't really like the photo, so I decided to replace it with another green heron shot. If you would like to see the new one, please check click HERE. You may have to click the 'reload' button on your browser to see the new one. I ordered some extension tubes to use with my zoom lens, and this should allow me to make some macro shots, even though my zoom is not a macro. They should be here today...we'll see. Later, I plan to buy a 'real' macro lens. I have seen people get photos very close with that setup.

I am impressed. It is not easy at all to capture moving objects not in the least a bee. Very well done..
