That's a creative composition you have there. It always amazes me how you include the slight imperfections in objects. This one might as well be a photo. Bravo!, as always.

Thanks guys. Modeling time was more like 45 minutes, mainly because of those darn wire circles, which the other 3 dont even show up. Askguden: Maxwell isnt too hard to learn. I think photographers would be really good at using it, because it has a lot of real life camera settings you have to know. But ive only had it for a few weeks and its easy to get a hold of.

this sort of piece is exactly what motivated me to learn 3D. I'm an old school pop realist at heart. drove me to master airbrush, and now this sort of thing is pushing me to get deeper and deeper into 3D. if only i didn't need to sleep. since there is no such thing as perfection, i'll say i'm disappointed there are no wet beer fingerprints on the darts, only because you've included everything else.

Beautiful! I am constantly impressed by the realistic quality of MR. This might as well be a photo, I honestly cannot tell the difference. Are the holes in the dartboard actual geometry, or just a texture?

Thanks. The holes are a bump map, maxwell has really good bump mapping.
