Thanks for viewing !! :o) -- Hmmmm... It is a type of Tiger Cranefly, probably Nephrotoma maculosa as i said earlier but i cant find ANY substancial info on Tiger Craneflies... AARRRRGH !!! However, its obvious why they got this name :o) Here are some facts that are true for all craneflies: Just like the bird, the crane, they have long legs. I learnt something new today... we're approaching to summer: so next time I'll see a mosquito flying in my house I'll take a closer look to see if by chance it's a tiger cranefly. We have tiger-mosquitos here that can be really painful -if not smashed ;)- ooops I probably shoudn't say that to the "fly-guy"! ;) Fantastc supe-macro my friend! V
