Alice knocked and opened the door,"Would like your tea now .....S-sir?". An audible gulp could be heard in the awkward silence. With a hefty raise, Alice worked for the professor for another fourteen years.

LOL, that must have been one heck of a raise! This is so funny... I would love to have the camera rotated next so that I can see Alice's reaction. But that's probably best left to the imagination (one of Bill Watterson's best secrets of cartooning =)
