Description

This image was taken early morning on the west side of the Delaware River. There is a 2 mile hike involved from the west side of the mountain which means that in order to capture the sunrise, you are hiking in darkness. I have and still do make the trip to see this sight regularly, always with the cameras. Frequently in Spring the fog covers the valley where the river flows until the warmth of the sun raises it, but until then from this perspective, it feels like you are on top of the world. I never show this location to others. There are cacti that grow at the base of this tree and people tend to ruin places like this. However I do share the pictures.
