Description
OK, me, I'm a technician. You guys are the artists. Could anybody give me a hand in working out what is wrong with the skin in this render. It seems almost right but 'something' is wrong with it. Extra credit goes to those who can work out who the model is. She IS un-morphed. Thanks for any help or comments.

Looks like the skin is stretched to large, I think you should try to make it a bit smaller in percentage for your render

Tiz Daz Laura :) Little less on the bump and maybe add a little specular to it.

Yep, Tat, it is Daz Laura. It has a fair bit of specularity on it. Hmmm, maybe increase the specular a tiny bit and decrease the highlight size? I did realize about the bump. Was just a bit more worried about the skin material itself. LOL

The skin looks fine, save for a little too much bump. However, i think the main element "missing" as you put it, is some sub-dermal scattering (SSS). The reddening of skin as light gets bounced around beneath the dermal layers would most likely be evident at least on her ears here, based on the intensity of the sunlight and position in the scene.

yeah bump is too extreme and it needs to look a little oilier with some specularity and specularity maps. but it looks really good, and reacts to light well!

OK, thanks. guys. I'll give it a go and see how it turns out.
