Description

"In the taverns of Aryadha, on the southern borders of the Revhyan empire, patrons often amuse themselves by scaring the travellers going south to the Wreceked Lands, by telling them atrocious stories about the savage tribes of orcs roaming the dusty plains and the torture they inflict upon prisoners, or the huge packs of ghouls hunting there in their unending hunger for living flesh. None of them has ever crossed the borders, otherwise they will know that the orcs are visible at a distance and a careful traveller can easily avoid the ghouls by keeping its ears open to their frightening howls. No, the actual treat in making the trip comes from the Khearan harpies: they are believed to be creations of the long lost sorcerer-king Lani-Maer, by cross-breding the eastern harpies with demons from the Void. They are silent and patient hunters, and the last sound heard by many a traveller has been the subtle flapping of hundreds of leathery wings, before the flock descented upon their unfortunate victim..." Well I think they're excellent! I like the story behind them and the legs and arms morph real well into those wings and talons.

WOW what an excellent image, it reminds me of a short story I read once, and I can't for the life of me remeber who by!!. Never the less, fabulous concept and composition, and I really like there expressions. Like this is the most fun ever!!!.
