Description

Thanks for viewing !! :o) -- First, i want to apologize for not commenting very regularly... I have been behind 10 pages for the last 4 weeks or so and have trouble catching up... time... *sigh* Due to circumstances i have hardly commented yesterday and wont have very much time commenting today... But i promise ill catch up soon :o) - European Common Frog (Rana temporaria) Length: 6 - 9 cm The dorsal surface and flanks are Very variable in colour, typically yellowish brown, brown but may be olive green coloured and some individuals have a reddish or yellow appearance. Variably spotted or striped. The ventral surface of males is a dirty white or pale yellow, speckled with grey or brown. The ventral surface of females is a pale yellow to orange. The most consistent markings are the dark patch behind the eye and the strong barring on the hind limbs. Males are generally smaller than females. You may encounter the it from late February to early October. They often breed in garden ponds between February and March. Frogs are most likely to be seen during the breeding season, though sub adults may frequent garden ponds throughout the summer months. Adult frogs will range far from their breeding ponds and may be found almost anywhere at this time, from open fields to the more expected damp areas close to standing water. Hope you like :o) - Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my last upload, "Sunbathing" !! -- Many thanks, Jeroen

Hmmm, a bigger guy today! Only four legs! Still so efficient, anyway! Don't worry about time, we all have this problem... Have a good day!

Ana called u master of macros. Haeberle called u Mr. Macro. I think ENMOS is a synonym for macro. Look at this pic for ENMOS - BIG Tractor 1 (For ENMOS) By TallPockets - FUNNY IDEA!

You are not only 'The Macro-King', but somehow you also seem to be a good friend to all animals. Why do they always wait until you finished your awesome job? Please explain! When I try to do something like this (on a lower level) most of my objects seem to be scared and hurry away from me.... Anyway: superb details as ever, carry on please!!

Just remember, John Lennon said, "Life is what happens in between your plans". (Or something like that! LOL! Be gentle with yourself...we'll wait for ya...you are worth it! ;0) Excellent photo by the way....our weather here this past weekend was windy and COLD. Not much shooting opportunities.
