One of the best decisions the rebellion's planners made was to create some simple artillery, mounting powerful raycannon on to simple hoverdiscs. Girls flying one of these things were vulnerable to just about any enemy soldier with a half-decent raygun, so the trick was to vaporise from long range anything that moved that might be hostile. It worked; the "armour" of the period had no effect against such potent weapons. Having fought side by side at the start of the Sex War, these two women would cooperate closely as senior commanders in the final major battle, the reduction of the New Xanadu stronghold.
