Description

A friendly pied wagtail, 'motacilla alba' on a fence at Swarkestone boat club, 2 miles from home. Fidgety fellows, fun to watch. EOS 20D, 400mm, F6.3, 1/200s, ISO 200. Critique, good or bad, appreciated! ..Steve..

Excellent captures Steve ! Background on upper one looks a bit unnatural to me... @wonderful...:why not showing both ? this isn't a competition ! I'm curious for your 400mm lens Steve, is it with os (optical stabilyzer) ? Thinking about buying one but I'm not sure about it...

awesome bird captures! the wire and pose of the cutie in the first one is magnificent, in the second are more details of the featherdress to be seen! but both are gorgeous! ;o)
