Summon my forces, we storm the barrier this night!" -Nexrosis The fifteenth image in my Aroth story arc (started with Desolation). Images to date: Desolation, Captive, Bait, Arcane Magic, Tragedy, Ambush, Departure, Underground, Observation, Nexrosis, Breakthrough, Encounter, Return, Council, and Gathering Forces. My opinion of this image has shifted drastically in the creation process, not once but twice. When I first thought of it, I really liked the idea that I had. However, when I actually started posing it, things didn't quite fit together the way I had imagined (I had misjudged Nexrosis's size and proportions). Lastly, when I finally completed the image, I really liked how it ended up. So here it is :) I also used this image as an opportunity to enhance my characters. Nexrosis now sports a white spine-ridge, and my 'generic elf' uses a higher resolution base texture, plus trans-mapped hair and eye-lashes. The Dragon is by Anton, the hair is by Nerd, and the Elf is based on the Devon character. More detailed credits will go on my page if/when I find ANOTHER new host.
