Description

"After sensing the breach Nexrosis acted quickly, poisoning the minds of Kalex and Nodar of the Draconic Council. Although Belaphon, the Council's eldest member, and Gaiowyn, the only elf currently on the Council, remained unconvinced, they knew that they must give some ground to Nexrosis. Nexrosis held the ears of the young, and this was a weapon Belaphon and Gaiowyn could not easily overcome." -The History of Aroth, Volume VII (Prelude to War) "When the dragons escorted me before their council, the first thing I saw was a huge pale dragon. Despite his scars, his blind right eye and tattered wings, he still managed to emmanate an aura of power. Perhaps this was only because of his large size, but somehow I doubt it. The second thing I noticed was when a shadow changed itself into a dragon and hissed at me..." -Digging with Dragons (the autobiography of Sarah Jones) The fourteenth image in my Aroth story arc (started with Desolation). Images to date: Desolation, Captive, Bait, Arcane Magic, Tragedy, Ambush, Departure, Underground, Observation, Nexrosis, Breakthrough, Encounter, Return, and Council. My system loved this one. Five of Anton's dragons (with those nice big texture maps and high polygon counts) plus two humans AND a cave. The scar tissue over Belaphon's right eye was modeled by me in Amapi (overkill for this shot, but I plan a close-up later). The textures were made primarily by Anton, with a little tweaking by me for the two main dragons. The wings of Belaphon have a custom trans-map to make them look tattered.
