This is me on vacation in the USA with a bike my husband and I toured on. Really I live in the UK, near Edinburgh. Still have bikes though, three in fact ;)
BIO
I started learning Bryce in July 2003 and fell in love straight away. I've got no artistic training so the delight is that I can get close to creating what I see in my mind's eye despite that. I joined Renderosity and 3DCommune and have benefitted a lot from both communities.
I'm really studying in earnest now. I've got a barrage of different programs, Photoshop, Cinema4D (vs 8.5), and have just bought Carrara 5 in the recent Daz sale. I'm taking courses at VTC.com trying to learn as much as I can to try and get down on paper some of the images that whizz past my mind's eye.
What can I say, I'm hooked :D

Sounds like a very wild tale. I think you Illustrated it very well. :)

Didn't read, never do..just take in the art and decide then..very nice ,cool concept..some flapping of the mane would help, but that's picky..maybe he stopped there...I dunno...

Awesome books, by the way! Your path technique is intersting, looks tedious... "All roads lead to Amber..."

Thanks :) Flapping of the mane - smartass reason, this close to the Courts of Chaos normal rules of gravity don't apply and they're gliding along those bridges. Real reason - I have terrible trouble with those Milhorse manes, even after I bought an addon package of them. This one has a touch of sway on the right side but all I achieved was a strange suspended wave :D

I have trouble with the mil horse manes too. That's a PS cure :D I love this depiction, so well done, lovely work.

Nice depiction of the Amber universe. I also loved the books.

You captured the scene beautifully! Your render is marvelous and is exactly what I would picture reading that quote. Great work! I'll have to look into Zelzny's works.
