Description

I made the initial kaleidoscope shape in Xenodream, exported it to Cinema4D, trimmed it's polys down and imported to Bryce. Bryce smoothing really seems to love C4D cropped XD meshes.. hence me calling it a happy marriage of apps :) Textures by me. Also had to (re-) learn some basic maths about the geometry of triangles and hexagons to place these accurately in the Bryce coordinate system. Who says school learning is useless :D I wouldn't have got it if my husband hadn't learned his formulae better than I did ;) The lighting in Bryce is based on a light rig by Draculaz in the Bryce forums. Thanks to him, as I would not have got such subtle lighting from just the skylab and those semi dome rigs took a day to render!
