Description

Here is another image from the same place as yesterday. Scott (goldfishman) aided my flagging memory with the name of the place, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. Located in Gainesville, you can find out more about the gardens HERE. It is worth a visit if you are in the area. Bring your camera. ;o] This is another photo taken on my dad's old Topcon RE Super with black and white film, developed and printed by myself in the photo labs of the University of Florida. I scanned it in yesterday, made a few value adjustments and add the extras you see at the bottom in Photoshop. It follows the theme laid down by the last 2 photos of moving into the wilderness. I happen to really like the way this path winds through the bamboo so thought I would share this one with you as well. Thanks for looking and have a great day! ----- "May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds." - Edward Abbey

Something looks familiar! I promise I won't tell. A narrow path along the bamboo reeds leading into a world of peace and happiness on this day of all days known as the 'day of missing children.'

Discovering new horizon every 10 feet on a track like this bending here and there, guiding safely through the wilderness! Gorgeous work, Kort!
