Description

North-western New Jersey. Areas similar to this field that were once farmed for crops and silage are falling to developers who build oversized/overpriced homes. Most of the farms that once dominated the landscape no longer exist, except for the remnants such as the native-stone fences or dilapedated barns(many of them are currently colapsing). As this field and trees are along a local route which has seen traffic increase exponentially over the past decade, it is only a matter of time befor this image may be all that is left of this field.

This is such a nostalgic and lovely scene, and your observations are so appropriate. After this area is transformed to pillar estates, no one will photograph this field anymore.
