Description

The female Crested Albino Totumbird lays only one egg during their entire adult life ... so they must keep their little, beady eye on it constantly... or the malachite cave dwellers will surely scramble it up for breakfast... ;) Having some fun with Toby Marshall's Fractotum 2. Ultra Fractal for bird, egg and background... with frame and sig in PSP.

Many thanks to all of you for the gracious and generous feedback on my previous uploads... and thank you ever so much for stopping in to have a look at this one! Hugs!! Helen :)

This is a shockingly good image, and only improves as it's studied.

She's absolutely beautiful - and with a wonderful attidude! Great white feathers, and the egg is the perfect touch! I like the background "cave" as well!

Looks like your diehard fan base is building up! "Holy crap" is one of my favorite expressions, recently popularized by Peter Boyle's character on Everyone Loves Raymond. Ever since he played the monster in Young Frankenstein I've been a huge fan of his. Remember the scene where the blind man poured hot food all over him? Fantastic fractal work, the surfaces just glow and the forms are perfect. The malachite cave seems custom made for this bird's coloring, a brilliant touch. It's head is wonderful, I love that beady little eye!

You must be so happy with this. I am almost at a loss for words. The whole image is a sheer delight to see. The malachite is almost like a tree bark background for this amazing and magical bird of your creation. I could go on and on and on!!

So gorgeous!!!! Wonderful detail, I adore the curve to her head and how full and soft the body looks. The egg is a beautiful touch and the colouring on both the bird and egg is fantastic!
