The night has come, and candles lit,
The flames burning bright,
Come my love, by this flickering flame,
The stars will give no light.
Melt the candles to a pool of wax
With the fire of love in your eyes.
Push back my hair, and whisper in my ear,
More of your beautiful lies.
Lead me into a moonlit realm and
Bless me with a kiss.
Lend to me your slender hands,
Those hands I truly miss.
Let down your long and raven hair
That I long to touch.
Let it fall about your face
And cover me like such.
Bring me as you always do
A gown of lavender lace.
Come to me before the moon
Hides its lovely face.
