Description
I'm putting this up again on the suggestion of cryptojoe, hope it's okay...
(The large image is a composite I did, with the smaller photo being the original reference of a real plane. I airbrushed out the plane from the original and put mine in with an old photo feel... )

The fuselage has wrong shape, I
m afraid. The very front part of it is too smooth, it should get thicker just behind the propeller (the reason was that the Czech engineers had to change the engine to a bigger one and thus the front part of the fuselage was broader than Germans designed). The second problem is the top part of the fuselage behind the cockpit-it was straight, the line was not bent. The fuselage was a metal tube with as simple shape as Germans could design, to reduce the work load during manufacturing. I think it would be best to use some plans, even downloaded from the Internet. For most parts, you can use the drawings of Bf 109 if you can

Thank u for ur comments and for taking the time to look. :) Actually I did use blueprints for this, complete with cross sections, and also various pictures besides this one pic show here. But I am sure it isn't perfect. There were places where the various pictures I had seemed to show different things than the blueprints and I sorta had to wing it. Of course certain things could have been optical illusions, or results of a damaged or worn plane... Who knows? So even though I'm sure it's far from perfect, since it was my first model of any kind of vehicle, I still felt proud enough of it to humbly post it here. :D And I know the compositing here is not anything that involved or that detailed, I kinda rushed it, but I think it helps give the feel of an old photograph...

Oh, btw, I am aware that the angle my plane is in, and some of the paint job, is different from the reference photo. I wanted this slightly different angle. If I had time I'd try various realistic paint jobs on my plane...

Hi there sh! I don't know anything about Maya or fuselage, but from my eye's view, I would say that you captured it damned good! Hell of a job! :-)
