Description

Running after flowers, hm, it would be great if a bench with Rendo-visitors would have seen me, bending down on my knees and in all positions trying to shoot those crocuses. Oh yes! The secret is simple, use wide-angle (as much as you have), close your aperture as far as possible (f/16, f/22, f/32) and focus in between the flowers and infinity (logarithmic focus, with a good old SLR-camera without autofocus as mine has I turn the focus-ring just in between). That's all! Easy does it! OK, enough crocuses now (or do you want more crocuses?) so it's time for the white cover that just after disappearing leaves a carpet of crocuses, the white cover of snow! And a little bit extra sky to breathe for you, Andreas! :) Oh, btw, the grey stroke down there is a landing strip. I've been WONDERING what that was! A landing strip! OK thanks for answering the mystery I never asked about! I like crocuses!! I like colour! But this one has a charm all of its own.

Not enough snow for sking but snowballs might be possible if it is a bit wet. Trying to throw a snowball all the way to the landing strip reminds me of how powerful are mountain guns that can fire shells five miles. Seeing them on donkey back with no wheels reminds one of the ingenuity of the line between primitive and modern. I'm sorry my thoughts were wandering. Armed neutral is a role I have examined.

I love this shot! It has the lovely background of the earlier one I commented one (er, the sixth one), but now it is the focus! Beautiful scene, and a wonderful capture! I'd really hate to have to use that airstrip though, that'd be painful.
