I was browsing Xenodream Kaleidoscopes that would make good meshes to export and use in bryce. I came across this one and immediately thought it looked like a heart (warped mind perhaps but it's the way my thoughts went ;) I took it into Bryce and textured it with a heart like material and set to making a lab. Well, by the time I'd taken the camera in close up for this shot you'd not know there was a lab surrounding it but there is. There were also around six radial lights with gels on them courtesy of Draculaz's light rig and I was loathe to part with them as they gave just the glare of lighting I was looking for. After three days waiting for it to render all that glass, liquid and glistening heart muscle I gave up and cut the render short (still only 6% antialiased). I've used a fake anti aliasing fudge that Caligula and Meski in the 3DC forums helped with (amongst input from others). Well,it's not my usual type of image but it ended up being strikingly like a dream I'd had a couple of weeks ago. I expect I'll go back to 'pretty' kaleidoscopes again now ;)
