Description

They wait in the cold pre-dawn, huddled before the ceremonial fires, waiting for the dawn, the return of light, the return of the gods. Just a moody bit of fun really. Please feel more than free to comment and criticize. Criticism is the only way to improve and I appreciate it all, good, bad and indifferent. Thanx in advance. Yerz, Yogdog

Awesome work of art. Just for fun ah! don't rub it in mate.lol The characters are too good, they do the stone henge style architecture justice. Excellent stuff for a vote:)

Aye, I like everything except for the Brycean stars... The image would be just perfect without them! I like the poses and the fire looks pretty cool too!

Thanx for all your comments. I apologize for the pic being so large, but it is so wide that if I reduced it to fit easily on the screen all the detail of the figures would have been lost. A note to Legolas240000: Sadly the smoke was postwork. I just can't get a good grip on volumetric materials and get them to come out looking right. A note to Lordstormdragon: The stars are not Brycean...I added them later in post work. Without them the scene looked a little dead...but I agree that they may not be right still. I will try and get it right next time. ;-)

What a wonderfully atmospheric night scene, aside from the fact you have perfectly captured one of my favourite travel spots in England. Do one of Avebury next!
