Description

Ever have one of those days? You know the sort...the lawn mower breaks, your electric razor runs out of steam while only half your face is shaved, the dog gets sucked up in the vacuum, and the computer crashes mid-multi-hour render despite the fact you weren't multi-tasking on it (because you were outside fixing the lawn mower). It was one of those days (though the beagle getting sucked up by the vacuum was an exageration). And the missus comes home to you ranting... Such was the day, and the my significant other, in her silly, hippy-trippy sage way says, "Take a deep breath, and just let it go in a little pink bubble." This is for her...knowing full well that after nine years of living with me she has on more occassions than I wish, "let it go in a little pink bubble." Gods how mushy! Please feel free to comment and criticize, good, bad and indifferent...it is really the only way to improve. Thanx in advance. Yogdog.

Very reminiscent of a Michael Whelan painting. Very pleasant, soothing image. Only suggestion-- why crop part of her? I'd've shown all of her.

I think the fact that you created an image from an experience that you shared with your wife says volumes about how much you really love her! Your image is gorgeous by the way - I am inspired by your hair and cloth painting. I haven't painted much at all as I have no idea what I am doing, but viewing your artwork gives me hope that maybe someday I will be able to...sigh I love the depth of this image, as well as the atmosphere you've created. The colors of the forest seems so warm and inviting. Excellent image and a V!

I love it! I don't think the DOF is necessary, or perhaps it's too hard. I think I'd rather see details in the background. Just an idea...!

Words fail me! A work of sublime perfection - like a Rackham painting.
