Description
This is taken from down inside a old irrigation tunnel passing through a mountain side. These irrigation tunnels use to provide water to the orchards in the oroville/tonasket area and now are only a eye catching item along the hillsides and hiways up here. There's hundreds of area's were you can still catch bits of these old irrigation tunnels and wood shoots. I found the tunnels extremely intresting and was suprised to see some of them weren't sealed off.

Reminds me of one segment in the Akira Kurosawa movie, "Dreams", where a Japanese officer passes through a tunnel after the WW2, only to discover that his entire command (although already all dead) has remained at its post. Creepy. Great shot.
