Description

This may seem a little out of sequence, but for some reason I just had to post the Death of Marat - like image yesterday. Here sits his royal high-ness upon his "throne". The scorched central section of a broken ceiling fan makes for a handy royal scepter. They are hard to see, but the wrought iron candelabras that used to flank the old church's altar stand to either side; silent and skinny royal guards. Shot on B&W 35 mm film with an old Topcon SLR. A tripod and timer was used, and I was my own model. No churches were harmed during the photographing of this series. That happened well before I arrived. ----- False Gods Series

In case you were wondering, I didn't click the nudity button for this because you probably would have seen more if I was standing and wearing speedos. ;oP

I wasn't wondering because it really isn't nudity. But now that you mention it,I would like to thank you for NOT wearing speedos! LOL! Love these shots,Kort.Besides being very funny, the quality of film is unmistakeable and so refreshing to see!

Is this your 'hommage' to the statue of liberty? We've certainly got an 'eiffel' here! (ok I know he only built it, but you can't get many puns from bartholdi !). Life, liberty and toiletries! Cheers 8-)

Perfect timing as we all need a great gargantuan laugh having survived another week as finally the weekend is upon us a few hours away. Here you look more like the Pharaoh ordering the slaves into submission to rebuild your palace and throne. Have a wonderful weekend
