Description

I did a pic way back called,"Le Bal Masque".It was my first real still life.This is it's sequel.I had fun doing it and I hope you like it. I want to dedicate this to Pascale(Tibet2004uk) because she has so graciously befriended me and I respect her immensely.She is very forthright and honest which are two qualities that I find both refreshing and admirable. I hope you like this,Pascale!Because if you don't I know you'll be the first to say so!(Bites nails...)LOL! Thanx for looking,all!And of course your comments/critiques are always welcome!...Oh, and I hope I got the french right! :) Marlene

Love the warmth in this. Looks to be some sort of celebration scene. I imagine those masques would be quite scary if it were not for that lighting! I need a bigger monitor sigh. Beautiful work Marlene

Really an excellent still life image, Marlene... Pascale will be delighted ! Regarding the fact that you probably use a keyboord without accents (apr, masqu, your French is perfect an I congratulate you for the choice of the title... I would love to hear your pronounciation ! lol ! :~)

It's true,I don't have the accents on my keyboard.I knew there were supposed to be accents there,but,c'est la vie!I'm glad you like my title.Not only was it fitting,but Pascale is french so it doubly fit. And no, Michel you probably wouldn't want to hear my pronounciation. LOL! :)

OMG!!! Marlene what the hell!!! This is absolutely stunning! This is exactly the kind of mood and atmosphere that I love and that fascinates me totally!!! Oh my!! The red light, the candle, the masks...I just love it all!! To me, this is mystery...strange things must be happening in dark corners...something very luscious and forbidden....a party...a cheeky party...only for selected members...man, ur pic is getting me going big time here...LOL! It actually reminds me of the movie "Eyes wide shut"!!! Totally wicked!! Thx so much for this one darling, u got it SPOT ON!!! But I shouldn't be surprised about that anymore now, should I? ;)
