Description
For our little friend Effe, whom we sadly was forced to put to sleep today.
Suffering from an incurable heart disease, he suffered a blood clot, leaving us with no choice but to end his pain.
These little guys are like our children, and a piece of our hearts die everytime they leave us.

My most sincere sympathies. We had to put our 12 year old Border Collie down six weeks ago and as you say, they are like children. You hang in there...someday, who knows, maybe we'll meet our little friends again. -jay

this wasn't what I was expecting when I saw a new Rochr image... I'm still not over our dog who we lost 28 years ago (I'm tearing up thinking about her right now!), so condolences to you sir.

Oh I am so sorry for Effie looks to be an adorable and obviously loved member of your family. I just lost my own Thea last week and I am still tearing up so I know something of what your feeling. It does help to know that they are now in a better place and pain free. Heartfelt sympathy and blessings to you and your family.

cries I'm sorry for your loss mate. I know exactly what you mean - they are like our children and we get so attached to them! We have a Persian called Fudge and I can't imagine how I would cope if something had to happen to him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my black and white cat about 2 weeks ago. I still think of him. They are our kids in a way. I found that for me doing a momorial image for them helps and also marks their being here. - Bob

my condolences. Its a beautiful cat, sorry to hear she had a blood clot. I have 2 cats, one is almost 20(!!!) and the other is 10.

Pershian cats are good animals, this one must have been painful to say good-bye to. Sometimes I wonder if the sorrow of parting with a pet makes it better never to have had one in the first place, but of course I keep signing on to new ones :o) But each leaves behind fond memories as well as sorrow.
