Description
For our little friend Effe, whom we sadly was forced to put to sleep today.
Suffering from an incurable heart disease, he suffered a blood clot, leaving us with no choice but to end his pain.
These little guys are like our children, and a piece of our hearts die everytime they leave us.

We also had a persian suffering with a heart problem and he died last year. We now have a new white persian and though he is very cute and playful, we will never forget the one we lost, so I can understand how you must feel right now ! He looked gorgeous !

I'm so sorry, Rochr. We just had to put down our part-Persian, Claw-claw, last month and it was just horrible. He had cancer, a sarcoma, and it was not curable. If you are like my husband and I, you will never stop missing your pet, but in time, if you're lucky, a new Fur Person will enter your life and heal some of the pain. And as for me, I wouldn't want to enter any Heaven that did not include animals.....

I sympathize with your pain. A bit over a year ago I lost my good friend Bobo (in my gallery too). I knew him for sixteen years. I had to put him to sleep due to oral cancer. I still miss him and think of him often.

sorry to hear your lost. indeed they are our best friends. everything will come to pass at sometime. for your sake i hope you have faith that there are other worlds then those which we can see or touch with mortal bodies. sorry once again, don't be sad though, i am sure your cat, if spoken, would want to you to carry on and be happy.

oh i never see this one...beautiful little cat...they become family yes ? and when you lose a pet...its like lossing a member of your family yes ? i lost my dog last new years eve...i went to the late night store to get some milk...someone thought it would be a good idea to let off a firework...my dog panic mutly his name was...he panic got free form his lead...run out in front of a car in the main road...that was the last time i see him alive...so i know what your going through...can be a huge loss to some...all the best regards barry

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Rudy. I know this must have been a very difficult choice for you to make, I know this from experience. But as you say, he will no longer feel pain. It's just so sad that us humans are left with the pain of their absence. Sending good thoughts your way, take care.

browsing through your gallery, and my eyes teared up reading about LB's passing, and now Effe's passing. They leave such an empty hole in one's life when it's their time. But sometimes you still them, in your dreams, or just a few feet away from you. Sometimes you feel them very close. Their bodies leave, but I think their souls stay awhile. For me, the pain really never goes away. Perhaps not as sharp as the years pass, but somehow it always stays. The last one to leave, my Gracie Anne, truly ripped a piece of my heart out and took it with her.
