Description
The first discipline we are witnessing at the High Heel Olympics 2005 here in Paris is the 10m women's platform diving.
Our picture shows pretty Jelena Kolnikowa (RUS) at her dive in full evening dress. Her elegance both in technique and outfit convinced the jury to give her the first gold medal of these Games.

That's the true spirit! What a glamorous outfit, and those pretty shoes with the transparent inlays! Lighting and atmosphere are really realistic for this outdoor scene, and the pose is very dynamic. I love the way her dress waves in the wind. Perfect!

Pretty funny... That landing from 10 meters would be something... Those shoes would not stay on... It actually looks more like a diving board than a platform... It may be harder to dive from the bouncy 3 meter board... Thanks for the chuckle.
