Description

The High Jump is one of the many disciplines of the High Heel Olympics where the demanded shoes make it difficult to achieve records than could be compared to the normal Summer Games. Anyway, same conditions for every athlete. Our picture shows Heike Weber (GER) on her way to olympic gold. After she had bad luck with a broken heel in the first try, she finally managed to outperform the competition. Four ladies have been disqualified during the event because they did not manage to keep their shoes on during the jump in at least one of the tries, as required by the rules.
