Description

- Scotland, Ben Nevis - The weather didn't change! ;o( But at 5 pm I reached the summit and I was the last visitor this day. This shot was taken in hurry because my fingers were hurting and heavy frozen by the wet sleeves of my jacket despite wearing a leggins, trousers and rain trousers, t-shirt, pullover, wool jacket, wind jacket, rain jacket and two hoods! I walked to the edge perhaps to see a tiny spot of landscape. But I only found walls of clouds and it was dangerous in all the mist to make a wrong step or to get lost. Now it was high time for the descent! Your comments and thoughts are really appreciated! Have a tuned day! ;o)

Congratulations and High Fives to you. I don't know about "Sad Winner" as I think you are a WINNER. You never gave up and made it to the top. You have left your foot print marker. Cheers to you....Aloha

Top of the tops! You did it! One needs a radar to look around LOL! The disappointment can be felt very well, but you showed perseverance and this shot proves that! And now time to go down again, I don't see a pub here to warm up! Your munro is beaten!

...lovely Rita, Meter Maid, any parking tickets up there? I been up there a few times too. My Hoo Koo Ekoo mountain bike got a bit of a hammering on the stoney path down....... Looks like you had the usual weather. Was the tumble down edwardian observatory / picnic site still their? It's been about five years since I last asceded Ben Nevis......... Great Photo. :)
