Description

Sorry I haven't been around for more than one week, had no time for commenting and so I didn't post anything either. Hope to be able to catch up with you all soon... will take me some time, me thinks... but I'll do my best :o) Wasn't sure to post the original shot or the postwork version... Edit:Have posted the original shot to the Forum right now. For comparison Just curious which one you like more. :o) This image is posted for two friends: Egmont, who has sent me an IM yesterday telling me he was missing my uploads :o) and Gerhard, who encouraged me to do more sepia images :o) Thank you, guys! Thanks for stopping by and any comments. Thank you for your nice comments, rankings and even votes on my previous upload "Get well soon, my friend!" Always highly appreciated. It's funny: we almost have the same mood in our last images. I love the duo-tone of this photo very much! Mhak, Tjeerd.

Wow, you've captured the dreamy summer-vibrations in this sepia work, with so much warmth in it, making it verrry special! Even me I decided not to look to the other version, to keep this one fast! Colors are more reality while this is more about artistic expression which clearly touches me more profound! Brilliant work, Monika!

moni, both versions are incredibly beautiful, and i guess it's all about taste and maybe what kind of mood we're in. i love sepia also...at the same time, when i take my moments of silence in nature...i so much love the rich and vibrant colors around me...and sometimes the pastels. this image in sepia somehow stops me in my tracks....brings tears to my eyes. the color version also is quite stunning...something about this one...not sure what it is...just has a more dramatic impact. which do i like better? don't make me choose. i can't! sorry! :) huggsssss! may you have many, many moments of silence like this...beautiful and peaceful!
