Description

I recently viewed the image "Spectrum" by MarkPerrett and was enchanted (once again) by the whole rainbow spectrum idea. After searching the galleries with the terms 'spectrum' and 'rainbow' I came across a bunch of wonderful inspirational pieces including some by Englewolf, frogdot, Midric, Mtncub, and lots by Shanivia as well as many other artists too numerous to list here. Appropriately inspired... I've been playing with spectrum colored stuff this week and this is my first one that looks presentable of itself. More to come I hope. This one is obviously simple but you might be surprised at how long I tinkered with it; One color tweak after another. EVERY kind of glass I have. Trying this angle and that angle. This sky then that sky. Lights here then there. Again and again. One thing after another. Wait-a-minute... you're all Brycers too... You DO know what I am talking about! Ain't it FUN!! I never have time for the more complex scenes like the master artists here.

Awesome and simple image! But you forgot to search for "roy g biv". Thats the name of my tribute to the rainbow. ;^) Excellent work and await more.

okay lgp, I entered in "roy g biv" just like you wrote it, without a period. I did NOT get your image but some poser rainbow stuff (it was nice too). I looked into your gallery and found yours. I LIKEY! No wonder I didn't find it before with my search criteria. I can only imagine how many hundreds more I have missed because of not knowing what to look for.

Very glad I stumbled onto this one. To me it's perfect. Sometime I'll show you some airbrush paintings I did years ago while attempting to do something similar, but different, and not nearly as well composed as this. Your efforts paid off with this one. Excellent work!!!
