Description

...another recycled scene, to experiment with the lighting in Vue 5. And what better way to celebrate my brand new computer (yes, yes, YESSS!) than to render one of my favourite scenes, dug out from some backup CD. I'm not sure if this is "better" than the first version, but it has much more of the grey, overcast look that I had originally planned - the ligthing possibilities in Vue 5 are really great. Reworked textures, and a grass terrain was added. (Those of you who have Vue 5 Infinite probably won't find any use for my "tutorial grass technique" but for the rest of us, I still think it has much to offer. Vue 5 isn't nearly as sensitive to the terrain polys as it is to "object" ones.) Vue 5 with GI, 2 hrs 45 min render. Mill freebie by "Liteluvr" - thanks. Tree texures by me. Minor postwork (levels correction, "add noise" etc.). Hope you like this one, thanks for your comments on my latest work, and for any you may wish to drop here. Have a nice day - Lars

Only now have I seen an actual render of your work.I was most impressed by the images of your modelling in progress, can't remember how long ago.But this final should go to print and framing ,for it's rich quality! Liteluvr's mill was a great choice of subjects! :B eaver !
