Description

Father and Child Out for a Walk Colour ~ June 13, 2005 Comments Last Friday I returned to the dynamite factory that is being disassembled and took more photographs of the metal pieces that was once the water storage tank. Some pieces had graffiti and paint ball splatters, along with new markings from the work in progress

A father carries his son through the morning, the son carries his father through the evening. Moody image.

This one is very powerful, a great dynamic diagonal with strong dark colours blow contrasting with the lighter tones above. A geat abstract regardless of whether there is a father carrying his child or a woman with a sack of potatoes. Excellent!!

I can only say I love this artistic style... eye for detail and not because of the subject, just structure and colors. Keep up the good work (I might get inspired to try so :D)

I commented earlier today, but apparently neglected to Submit it! Here you go again: A very appropriate photo for Father's day. I really like the nebulous nature of the child because for me it implies more than one child - a group of children. The way the seem to be behind a rail and in the lighter greenish area speak to me of them being in a safe place, protected from the darker and more ominous forground. Or it could just be dad and the kids are going for a nature hike and are looking down from a boardwalk or the top of a hill. :) The angle adds a lot of energy too. All in all, a great image with a lot to read into.
