It reminds me of our airplane travels between the Island where sugarcane or pineapple field boundaries were separated by road ways. In a sense, they were maps. Aloha

Love the malleability of concrete for texture and imprint. Your lines are nice and the discoloration looks good following suit with your other (star) one.

Apt and wonderful title for this image. I too love maps, especially old ones and treasure maps, so I see what you see here. The title evokes thoughts of a mad mapmaker who knew the location of a lost treasure and only by thinking like him, could one decipher his maps and find the prize! :]

OH!!!!! i see the treasure right away!!!!!! It's a verrrrry old book from the look of it! Do you see it Egmont???? Perhaps it's a book of MAPS!!! the colors are absolutely exquisite and the POV is perfect...can imagine someone looking down getting ready to pick up this treasure! is that your shadow i see in the image...there in the upper right quadrant, close to the center? i so much love looking at this one...peaceful and so ancient! outstanding find and photography!

Oh ja, ich gehe zu den neugierigen die sich gleich die Frage stellen, was du da wohl abgelichtet hast... dachte auch gleich an einen Betonboden, aber irgendwie machten die Struktur und Linien keinen rechten Sinn, aber vorsorglich hast du es ja gleich erklt. Wieder mal ein sehr sches Beispiel daf, das die meisten Schze direkt vor unseren Fsen liegen. Man munur den Blick haben sie auch zu entdecken
